At Aperanti, every space has been thoughtfully designed to help you slow down, connect with nature, and experience the authentic rhythm of village life in Cyprus. From peaceful outdoor corners to welcoming communal areas, each space offers its own unique atmosphere and invites you to make yourself at home.
THE COURTYARD
For generations, the courtyard was the heart of the traditional Cypriot home — a place where daily life unfolded, meals were prepared, produce was dried, families gathered, and stories were shared.
Today, at Aperanti, it continues this tradition as a welcoming space to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of village life — from sunny breakfasts and outdoor work sessions to evening drinks, shared conversations, and hands-on experiences such as our halloumi-making workshops.
THE DINING AREA & THE WORKING SPACE
The dining room has always been a place for gathering, sharing meals, and bringing people together. At Aperanti, this spacious room continues that tradition, welcoming guests around the table for breakfasts, dinners, cooking lessons, and long conversations. A traditional stone arch reminds us of the building's heritage, while old bread-making molds, cereal sieves, and other tools once used by Tassos' grandmother decorate the walls, connecting the space to generations of village life.
During our coliving retreats, it transforms into a bright and inspiring workspace where remote workers can focus, collaborate, and connect with others. Whether sharing a meal or exchanging ideas, this is a space designed for community, creativity, and meaningful moments.
THE ROOMS
Our four rooms blend traditional village character with simple comfort. Each room has its own unique charm, preserving original architectural features and elements of the house's history while offering everything needed for a restful stay. Thoughtfully furnished with a mix of family heirlooms and handmade touches, they provide a cozy retreat after a day of exploring, working, or sharing experiences with our community. Wake up to the peaceful rhythm of village life and make yourself at home in this space where past and present meet.
All rooms have a private bathroom, air-condition, underfloor heating and Wifi.
THE RECREATIONAL AREA
As you step into the property, you are welcomed by our recreational area, a bright and inviting common space filled with natural light thanks to its glass connection to the courtyard. Once the feeding station for the family's goats, this corner of the house has been thoughtfully transformed into a place for relaxation and connection. Curl up with a book, enjoy a board game, drink a cup of coffee or simply unwind while taking in the peaceful atmosphere. It is a space where the history of the house meets the slower rhythm of village life.
THE KITCHEN
The kitchen is one of the most vibrant spaces at Aperanti, changing its role with the seasons.
During the agrotourism season, it is where Sara and Maroulla work their magic, preparing wholesome breakfasts and creative dinners using local and seasonal ingredients. To ensure a smooth service and food safety, the kitchen is reserved for the hosts and is not accessible to guests during this period.
During our coliving programmes, the kitchen becomes a shared community space. It is where colivers gather after a day of remote work, exchanging stories, ideas, and recipes while preparing meals together. Fully equipped with a cooker, oven, microwave, dishwasher, blender, and all the utensils needed for everyday cooking, it provides everything required to create anything from a quick lunch to a communal dinner.
