Two ways to stay at Aperanti
A special place for travelers who want to experience the real Cyprus. Nestled in a traditional village and surrounded by nature, Aperanti invites you to slow down, enjoy fresh organic food, connect with local culture, explore hidden corners of the island, and create memories that stay with you long after your holiday ends.
Aperanti Agrotourism
OUR AGROTOURISM PHILOSOPHY
Aperanti is an unique agrotourism accommodation that offers an authentic local experience in a rural Cypriot village. Relax in our peaceful courtyard, enjoy homemade breakfasts prepared with produce from our fields and local producers, and discover the flavours of Cyprus through our cuisine.
Join us for hands-on experiences such as halloumi making, seasonal farm activities and traditional cooking, or simply enjoy the slower pace of village life.
For those who love exploring, Aperanti is the perfect base to discover mountain villages, nature trails and hidden corners of Cyprus far from the usual tourist routes. A place to slow down, connect with local culture and create meaningful holiday memories.
Our agrotourism season runs from early March to mid November.
WHAT TO EXPECT
At Aperanti, you can choose from our four unique rooms, each with its own personality, private bathroom, underfloor heating, and air conditioning. Feel free to unwind in our shared spaces, including the courtyard, reading and games areas, and dining room. The kitchen is used by our team to prepare meals for guests, so it isn’t available for guest use. Free Wi‑Fi is available throughout the property.
Start your day with a homemade breakfast made with produce from our farm and local suppliers, available for an additional charge. On some evenings, we also offer dinner by request, usually once or twice a week. Our food combines Cypriot and Italian flavours, using fresh seasonal ingredients that we grow ourselves or source locally.
No two days are quite the same here. You can get involved in farm activities or join one of our hands-on experiences. If you’d rather explore, we’re always happy to share local tips and point you towards nearby villages, mountain trails, and trekking routes so you can discover the beauty of the area.
Aperanti Coliving
A unique coliving experience for long-term travelers and remote workers who wish to recharge their energy, embrace slow living in a small village, reconnect with nature, learn from the locals and most of all create meaningful connections with other passionate people.
OUR COLIVING PHILOSOPHY
Aperanti Coliving is a great opportunity to stay and work in a local village in Cyprus, while meeting other like-minded people. Our community is built around shared experiences and meaningful connections. Many of our experiences are co-created, giving everyone the opportunity to contribute their ideas and skills to the group. At the same time, a dedicated coliving manager helps facilitate the experience, organize activities, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
While we encourage participation and community involvement, nothing is compulsory. Whether you prefer joining our activities or simply enjoying some time on your own is totally up to you. We may be small in size, but our community is rich in stories, creativity and friendships. During your stay, you might meet friends from our extended international community who often stop by to share a conversation.
Our coliving season runs from mid November to early March.
WHAT TO EXPECT
At Aperanti you will have your own private room (with desk, private bathroom, air conditioning and underfloor heating) and access to all the communal areas (a central courtyard with seating, a fully equipped kitchen, a co-working area/large dining area with office chairs, and a relaxing space with games and books). The entire property is covered by a stable Wi-fi signal.
Every week, we will host a community meeting to get to know each other, to discuss ideas and suggestions, to organise communal dinners, excursions, skill share, movie night and much more.
You can participate for free in some of our activities such as olive harvesting, fruit collection, cheese making, cooking lessons, breadmaking, etc. You can join us in some trekking in the mountains, birdwatching in the forest or exploring off-the-beaten track places on the island.
WHY COLIVING IN CYPRUS
Cyprus generally experiences mild autumns and winters, making it the perfect escape from the cold months in Northern Europe.
It is a very diverse country, with pristine sea, majestic mountains, traditional villages, vibrant cities, archeological sites, medioeval castles and so much more to discover.
It is a very safe country, relaxed and with friendly hospitable people.
Cyprus is not yet part of the Schengen Area, this may be advantageous for those whose Schengen visas are near to expire but still wish to stay in Europe longer.
